Alex Collier - Supposed abduction ideas

I just stumbled across mention of Alex Collier. I had never heard of the guy, so I Googled him and found some information. I get so tired of the consistently lame stories that contactees tend to tell. Here's a typical passage from Collier being interview by Paola Harris:

Collier: No , I never had any of that and I don’t consider myself an abductee and I resent that people classify me as an abductee.
Harris: There is a difference between abduction and contact.

Collier: I know that and you know that. I am willingly part of this process.

Harris: If you are not at the intellectual level to accept contact, you will consider it a violation. It is too bad these experiences get" bad press’ Was there a feeling that you had something to do and you had better do it and you had agreed to do it before you were born. Are we talking mission here?

Collier: According to the A’s we are genetic royalty ,everyone on this planet and it has nothing to do with where we are on a soul level. People confuse the two. It is like people don’t listen as well as they hear. They say we are genetic royalty because we the subtotal in our genetics of 22 different races. Many different races have been here, over millions and millions of years they have genetically tampered with us and left us and ended up mating while they were here.


The underlined text from Paola Harris is so absurd. Even if this WERE happening, what sort of masochistic moron considers being yanked out of bed at someone else's whim and being poked at to be some sort of "blessing"??? Even my 7 year old is polite enough to ASK his friends if they want to play and not just yank them into whatever he wants them to do. Seriously, this sort of attitude is proof of the general lack of character and free-will exhibited by most of the "Crystal crowd" - people of this ilk. If any being got so bold as to think to come into my house and "Take" any one member of my family away for whatever purpose at all without asking them first and exhibiting some simple common-sense and sensitivity to OUR cultural customs then I'd absolutely be pissed and probably get violent.

Yeah, sure, it seems silly to even say this since the mere suggestion that any such race would NOT be sensitive to customs and such is also absurd. The only rational explanation for this sort of "grabbing" of humans - if it is not merely a weird mass-hallucination felt my many (which it likely is IMO) - is the theory that they simply view us in the same way we view experimental animals or animals in the wild.

Heh. If we're such genetic royalty then why would they not approach me politely and feed me peeled grapes like the royalty I am? Do we always have to appease our egos by saying things like this? Honestly, this sort of statement makes it sound more and more like lucid dreaming - the sort of assuaging that your own mind might do to bolster your lacking self-confidence.

As an experiencer I agree what you are saying. The part about calling a spade a spade. Do you know how many New Agers have said to me..Well you chose this before you came into this life? OK let's say I did choose this. Does every rape victim choose that too. That type of mumbo jumbo doesn't help the person process these type of experiences. You (New Agers) may as well say it is God's will so shut up and realize this is for you own good.

been a while since i read comunion, but i always remember the bit where streiber asks what gives you the right to do this, to take me out of my house, scare me and my family. and the answer being "the ability to do so."
same as we do with animals in the wild and otherwise.

i suppose looking at the pandas being displayed by china right now, we do treat some examples like "royalty" but im betting the vet checks complete with thermometer that goes you know where, feel like a violation to the recipent none the less

Few months ago I read a statement from a person who hung out with the person who now calls himself "Alex Collier" in the 80s.
He says the guy never mentioned anything of aliens or paranormal in all the years he knew him.
So much for "life long abductee"....

I don't know. Have a cousin who suffers horribly from paranoia. She thinks her family, including moi, are out to steal her land. If a cousin she hasn't seen in years runs into her in a public place, that cousin becomes part of the vast conspiracy against her.

She saw my spouse's name on a sign alongside the freeway once and it caused her to wreck her car on that freeway. It was a sign he was "violating her civil rights" by causing her to wreck. (Excuse me?) A large Washington agency sent us the complaint, I forget which it is because she's sent complaints to every agency in Washington, the state of Texas and in my city.

She thinks we're all following her in our cars so she's constantly wrecking her car trying to get away from us in traffic. Of course the police are in cahoots with us now too, but she isn't crazy enough to lock up for treatment. She still works and maintains a certain bizarre lifestyle. I'm pretty sure she's turned against her children for the same reasons now.

So she's had terrible events take place in her life, causes herself unimaginable pain and isolates herself which only causes her problems to perpetuate. I'd say she's created most of these things in her life with no idea that she has. She's an extreme case, but who's to say what we draw to us? It isn't an open/shut case, imo. We have no idea what we do to ourselves with one misstep or creative impulse.

That said, there are opportunists of every ilk just waiting for missteps. I don't necessarily think we are at fault, just misdirected sometimes. And ... sometimes we're just unlucky.
