Default Strange sighting

Hi guys,

Yesterday I saw a strange aerial object over Mar Vista, CA. It looked like a bright sphere. I don't know what it was for sure, but I don't think it was a plane or balloon.

What struck me as odd was how "surreal" it looked. I can only compare it to bad CG. The depth and lighting was totally "off". It looked like a "copy and paste" job.

Unfortunately I didn't have a camera on me, but I'm really wondering how that object would have looked like on a pic. Probably 100% fake! I'm reconsidering everything re "debunked" photos.

I'm wondering what the photo experts on this forum think about this issue?

Did you ask anyone else around the area if they saw anything?

Sounds weird. If I had such a surreal sighting I might suspect someone or something was messing with my head.

Ally,

I looked at it for about 30 seconds, got distracted for a second by an ongoing basketball game at the park, and when I looked up again it was gone.

Yes, something messing with my head is also a possibility. I'm open to that explanation.

I'm just wondering if anybody else on this forum had a sighting similar to mine?

Are you one of these people who sees weird stuff all the time? If you are, here's what I'd like you to do, and I'm dead serious:

1. Buy a really good camera.

2. Buy a really good tripod and affix said camera to tripod.

3. Throw it in the trunk of your car, ready to go at a moment's notice.

4. Snap pictures of everything strange or unexplainable you see, making sure the lens cap is off and the aperture is set to infinity.

If you're going to suddenly see things all the time, you have to be prepared.

Tony2013,

Thank you for your reply.

No, I don't see (and hear) strange stuff all the time. I've had 2 sightings in 40 years that I cannot explain. But I'll keep my digital camera near by.

Look at the March 2nd show Dorothy Izatt.. page 20 post 192. It looks like Jeff R.. had a sighting on the same day that you did. Although he doesn't live in CA, it still might be interesting to campare notes.

I have heard of cases where people witness what looks like the same craft in different parts of the world on the same day. I can't list them off the top of my head though.
