Well, is there any way we can rule out an optical artifact?

The accent is throwing me a little...are they acknowledging the beam themselves? I mean, is it clear they are seeing the beam?

At one point I can make out comments about colors.

If it's not an artifact, it's fake.

The fact that there is a SOLID line, as opposed to a diffused line from a distance tells me that it's not legit.

for a 50 foot ufo to be that small, it would have to be far away, and the beam was as wide as the UFO, which tells me again that the beam would have been bright enough to literally make whatever it struck to be as bright as daylight.

If there were accounts of daylight coming earlier than normal, then I could see this having some legs. It's either an artifact, or it's fake.
