A nod to reasoned discussion

Just wanted to compliment the community generally on the, by and large, well reasoned thought. For the most part the only areas where I see some digression are where there really isn't any way for the members to have the information.
A brief digression for some of my background...grew up around professional auto racing (training pants onward), did both conventional and nuclear propulsion engineering in U.S. Navy. Have experienced, and still experience, various things called 'paranormal' by some.
Regarding government disclosure...understand that the way to keep big secrets is to give the secret hunters something else to go haring off after whenever they get close to seeing something in their quest.

In closing, again, my thanks for the public display of reasoned thought.
