Didn't Sir Ed Dames supposedly worked out where he was (roughly) on Coast to Coast. Can never listen to that damned programme (not gonna pay to listen to 4 hrs of drivel a night
 ) but they did have a few updates (maps etc) on the website, the day after his appearance on the programme. Wonder if anyone took his "information" seriously??

He did not have his GPS
He is an experienced flyer He did not log his flight Did the search get called off, and people return to watching TV and just forget it? I dont get it Something strange I tell you it really is Were is his family now?

Its very sad when we loose an explorer/adventurer, and Mr Fossett will be missed
historys pages remember our explorers and our adventurers. and for good reason its one of the best things about human spirit, the urge to explore and do the undoable
