I have to pull you up on one point though. The incidence of terrorism has actually been consistently decreasing over the past few decades (or even centuries if you take a broader view and discount world wars). Even WITH 9/11 - terrorism was on the decrease. The only thing G W Bush did was increase local terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan - As for the rest of the world, it remains in decline. Prior to Bush, Al Queda was a spent force and 9/11 was its last gasp effort to involve the US - unfortunately a confluence of neoconservative and radical islamist thought made 9/11 seem like a good idea from BOTH camps - and it was made a reality by forces on BOTH sides, who each saw a benefit in it for themselves - but this is the wrong forum for this discussion so I will say no more.

Yeah I didnt mean to turn this into a political discusion, I just meant that his means of doing it left him open to critiscism. Probably should have used a different example.
The thread was really just meant to be a bit of fun. Perhaps his cause is just, perhaps there is the odd grain of truth in a teeny bit of what he is saying, but it doesnt matter to me really.

It may sound odd, but the main reason I am interested in Ufology is NOT just to find out whether Aliens are really out there and visiting earth.
I just love to listen to the all the colourful characters and try to determine whether they are telling any truth etc. Determining whether people are really what they say they are is a large part of my profession and I have become fairly good at it over the years.

James Fox is indeed the maker of 'Out of the Blue' and the new one should be out soon. In terms of an earlier post about him makig money from it, he hasnt managed to get contracts with any of the national channels yet so i think the cinema release is unlikely.
