| General Freewheeling Chit-Chat There are many things that fall within the field of the paranormal, and this is your place to discuss the issues that interest you. What's more, it doesn't have to be related to the paranormal. Most any subject is fair game. |

This is mostly for Gene and Dave but anyone can answer as a listener how their opinions changed of whomever having heard them on the Paracast...
So how about it? Are there guests you liked/believed/endorsed or what have you prior to interviewing them that afterwards you thought they were either lying or off the mark? What about the other way? Anyone you thought was a fraud or kook who you ended up thinking was decent?

I was disappointed with the Sauder interview. He sounded unprepared, paranoid, and too gullible. For instance, he seemed to take Linda Howe's work seriously and believed in the Adamski case -- both marks of an unhinged personality.
I still think that his books are good, however. His presentation at the X-Conference a few years ago, viewable on youtube, is also fascinating. Perhaps he was just having a bad day? Any plans to get him back on the air, gentlemen? |

Well, for the most part, I've found guests to be pretty much exactly what I expected.
I know that's a simplistic answer, but it's the truth. dB

I'm sorry to say but I was a Greer supporter. The only thing I knew about him was the Disclosure project video on Google.
Also, in the early to Mid-Nineties I was really fascinated by Hoagland. To this day I dig his Moon stuff, Not the C3P0 head but some of the other things he's presented in regards to the moon. now he is just an opportunist jumping on every bandwagon the paranormal community rallies around. Now his big thing is 2012. Oh and I was briefly and I mean briefly sucked into the whole Hale Bopp clusterfuck. ya know those idiots like Ed Dames and those other remote Viewers ( I use the term loosly) who kept seeing aliens in a ship behind the comet. Ed dames claims to have Remote Viewed satan. He's one that needs to be on the Paracast, the forums would assplode after that aired.

I was originally directed to the paracast from a link on the Disclosure project site, so listening to the Pcast has definately moved Greer from the "maybe" box to the "no fucking way" box on my credibility scale. Generally it tends to be that way with all the guests they've had that I knew of previously, moving them from tenous positions to more solid ones.
