And yet Rumsfeld casually announced that what... $10 billion was "unaccounted for" just before 9/11. Seems to me there's plenty to go around.

Not that it matters, printing the physical money isn't even an issue anymore, they can just type numbers onto a screen and invent magic money out of thin air. Besides, if you're planning some super secret, world domination scheme, ruining the global economy is hardly a concern...

I think there's a difference between funds that are unaccounted for and printing money. You could possibly make money magically disappear or secretly reroute funds but printing money isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Yeah but digital money isn't physical money. If nobody stops to count it how can you really tell how much capital is in "circulation"? Or maybe that's part of the reason the global economy is so weak; certain groups have simply been pulling money out of thin air and now it's starting to bite us all in the ass...

Once the money gets past a certain level does it even matter? I can see a few hundred million getting misplaced due to bad accounting or what not, I mean it IS the pentagon but come on...
