I don't understand what the heckling is all about. No single person gets it right, at all times. Nobody. Not even Gandhi or ML King. Quite possibly not even Jesus Christ.

Everybody is human and makes mistakes - honest mistakes. In the case of Alex Jones, when he says something I don't agree with, I still get the feeling that he speaks from the heart, and means well. That is what counts for me.

What does it matter, if the world is ruled by shape-shifting reptilians, or Illuminati, or Bilderbergers, or Zionists, or Nazis in the Antarctic, or any other secretive group of conspirators? Well, it doesn't. What matters is that we pursue the truth, wherever it may lead us. No single individual holds the entire knowledge, to claim otherwise would be preposterous.

To the critics of Alex Jones, I want to say this: Why don't you get up there, and do a better job? Huh? If it's so easy, and his mistakes are so obvious? Go on, show us how it's done. If you can't, then stop complaining, but get behind the cause of exposing the truth.

This is not about Alex Jones or any other individual. This is about having the guts to stand up and demand that your rights as a human being be respected, and that you are told the truth by the authorities. The truth campaign is so much bigger than a single man.

The thing is that you have to play to your audience.

If i paid money to go to a standup show i would be pretty miffed if i had to endure something other than comedy.

Not that i'm against Alex Jones.

It would be like buying a ticket to see the new Batman Movie and having to watch Sleepless in Seatle instead.

They still got Doug Stanhope/batman. They also got Alex and hecklers. Funny, heckling just stretched out the non-standard show. Those complaining about lack of comedy and heckled were jokes unto themselves.

Personally I found it all interesting and was a unique show. If only Bill Hicks got heckled more I'd have got to heard him use his wit even more and in a more varied way.

I dont think that Alex Jones fared too well.

He kind of floundered and for a second seemed unsure of himself.

I also thought Alex made a poor showing for himself.

He went from just this excited, conspiratorial, ranter to a guy who's yelling "You pussy!" at someone in the audience and talking trash like he's some sort of hard ass. Alex Jones is about as hard as a roll of thawed cookie dough, and when he stoops to the grade-school level taunts his already thin credibility is completely decimated. Seriously, we all know Alex wouldn't be talking like that if he were in a prison yard instead of a place where white-collar people have paid money to be entertained.

And it pains me to say that, because I used to think Alex had a good head on his shoulders. Now I seriously wonder if he's schizophrenic, and his condition is worsening. He used to be able to nest a compelling argument inside an inspirational speech. Now he sound like the homeless guy outside of Walgreens. That's sad.

Yeh, I couldn't bear more than a couple minutes before I skipped em. Alex is what he hates and fears, just doesn't know it.

Hi All,

I have no idea why Alex Jones accepted the stage at a Comedy Club. It's just the wrong venue for a crowd of people who want to unwind with a few beers and stand up jokes.

Bringing the reality of politics and alleged conspiracy theories to such a crowd. Will get them rowdy, case in point with the damage control with the audience that this Doug fellow was handling.

About a couple of years ago i discovered Alex Jones via his internet site. At first i thought this guy knowledgeable as sorta a Paul Reverie or a Canary in a coal mine.

After listening to him in a few more telecasts i began getting fatigued. Taking a step back he's an alarmist that's very paranoid, he may be a citizen activist. But his bombastic nature drowns out any truth that can reach sensible people. Unless Alex Jones is just trolling for a crowd that'll eat out of his hands.

He does tell listeners to research this stuff and to be critical. However in the same breath he begins spouting conspiracy theories that cause a disconnect along the way.

I do remember a few times callers to his show ask about the UFO and Paranormal topic. He's apt to state that he doesn't know much about this to give it any credence.

Maybe, maybe not. Alex is a very smart guy. I always get the impression that he very aware of how he comes across, but that he doesn't mind. In fact, I think he uses his apparent rowdiness for attracting attention and causing a stir. I think it's an act, a calculated move to get his message across. You may not like it - and I can certainly see why - but his in-you-face diatribes have a positive effect on a lot of people.

What i dont understand about Alex Jones is that on the one hand he is Exposing the Powers that be for the use of CCTV and the Monitoring of the General Public by the state and all the rest of it.

And yet..........

Those people who are civilians and in their free time out of the goodness of their hearts will monitor the US Mexican boarder with Binoculars walkie talkies and sat in Jeeps. Ive heard Alex Jones pander to these sad fucks ! infact he pats them on the back quite frequentley on his show.

Dont you think that this is quite a contradiction ?

I dont particularly like illegal Imigration but on a Humanistic level i can understand why these people want to live in the USA. They are Poor and want Jobs.
