All kidding aside, it's amazing what the Nazis did to a perfectly good prosperity symbol to make it a bad thing. Maybe in a thousand years people will disassociate that symbol with evil.

What I have learned, is that are many means for one symbol. But the Nazis used the Buddists symbol so that people that look into things would only see the dark.

You'll find the swastika among the Native Americans, throughout Asia and among the Celtic tribes that the "Master Race" believed themselves descended from.... I recall, although an actual attribution escapes me, reading that there was a theory that it was originally an Atlantean symbol that was spread throughout the world by their colonists and this is what the Nazis wanted to associate themselves with; I want to say that Blavatsky's writings are where they latched onto that idea but I may be mistaken.
